³³ The disciples said to Jesus, ‘This place is a long way from any houses. We cannot get enough bread here to feed so many people.’

³⁴ Jesus asked them, ‘How many loaves of bread do you have?’

They replied, ‘We have seven loaves and a few small fish.’

³⁵ Jesus told the crowd that they should sit down on the ground.
